Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY
Rosica Hall was designed and constructed to further NTID’s recognition as the national leader in research on the education of persons who are deaf and hard of hearing.
The new building houses Strategic Research Centers, Laboratories for Discipline-Based Research, and an Innovation Laboratory Space where faculty will be encouraged to engage students in scholarship and innovation activities. In addition to the research spaces, the building includes conference and meeting areas, an atrium space and a meditation garden.
By being directly connected to the Shumway dining complex and the Student Development Center, Rosica Hall provides students and faculty researchers direct access to all of the main activities on the NTID campus. Rosica Hall received LEED GOLD certification through the United States Green Building Council.
